This footage by Mort and Millie Goldsholl documents their trip to Japan ca. 1964. It shows Itsukushima Island, also known as Miyajima, including the “floating” torii gate and the Itsukushima Shrine. Near the end, we can see Mort Goldsholl and his children being photographed in front of the torii gate. Many other titles from the Goldsholl Collection were taken during that same trip to Japan, including Hiroshima and Japan: Train Ride to Hiroshima and Osaka.
