'1996 Family and Museum.' Amateur footage of family members and of East Orland museum of collectibles founded by Carlene Harmon's father.
Viewing Notes:
Title card: ‘Family & Museum in East Orland 1996’. A man (Carl E. Powers) walks into the private museum. He talks to the woman who is filming. He holds up and discusses various items in the museum, including: tools, cast iron pots, a school desk, vases, figurines, tins, a small Christmas tree, arrow heads and a miniature totem pole. The woman filming states that he has been collecting for 23 years. Cut to Carl reading in an armchair, as he is interviewed about family history and living in East Millinocket. Cut to an interview with Carl and a group of family members, discussing their relationships to each other. A dog does tricks. Shot of a snowy driveway. Cut back to the family group with the dog. One woman is sewing/embroidering. Shot of falling snow. A pickup truck halls a grater to level a dirt road. A tractor going down the road. [End of Reel]
